My name is  Ilya Blay and I am a photographer. To me, photography at its best captures the unique essence of a person, so that when their mom or dad or best friend sees that photograph, they recognize that special something right away.

I first picked up a camera while on a backpacking trip around Europe in 2009, and since then I have not stopped taking photos, reading books about taking photos, watching videos about taking photos, and buying stuff to take photos with.
